Lanzarote Aquarium

The Canary Islands' largest aquarium features 33 tanks containing one million liters of water and hundreds of marine species from local and tropical waters.

The construction of this marine facility in Costa Teguise marked a significant step in Lanzarote's development as a tourist and educational destination during the 2000s.

The aquarium's educational programs teach visitors about marine conservation through interactive exhibits and displays highlighting the impact of ocean pollution on sea life.

The facility opens daily from 10:00 to 18:00, offering different admission rates for adults at 16 euros, children aged 4-12 at 11 euros, and seniors at 13 euros.

Visitors can participate in shark diving experiences in the 500,000-liter main tank, with options available for both certified divers and first-time participants.
