Ciempozuelos is a municipality in southern Madrid situated at about 568 meters elevation. It sits near the Jarama River and is home to around 25,000 residents.
The area contains archaeological remains from the Bell Beaker culture with significant pottery findings excavated between 1894 and 1895. These discoveries show that people settled here during prehistoric times.
