Cabarceno Natural Park, Wildlife park in Cantabria, Spain

The 750-hectare park contains over 120 animal species from five continents, living in large enclosures within a former mining area.

The location transformed from an open-pit mining site into a conservation park in 1989, preserving the landscape while creating habitats for animals.

The park provides educational programs for local schools, enabling students to learn about wildlife conservation and natural ecosystems throughout the year.

Visitors can access different areas through 20 kilometers of roads, with designated parking spaces, picnic zones, and botanical paths throughout the park.

Animals roam in extensive territories that replicate their natural environments, allowing them to display instinctive behaviors during mating seasons.
