El Fadrí is an octagonal tower in central Castelló de la Plana standing about 60 meters tall, with multiple levels connected by a spiral staircase of roughly 200 steps. The structure blends Valencian Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles across its many floors.

Construction began in 1440 and continued for more than 160 years until completion in 1604, with the structure undergoing several architectural modifications during this period. The extended building timeline reflects the gradual shift from Gothic to Renaissance styles in the region.

The name Fadrí comes from Valencian and means bachelor, referring to its independent position next to the Santa María church. Today visitors can see how this standalone structure serves as a central landmark in the city's layout.
