Hacienda Torre de Doña María, Historical hacienda in Dos Hermanas, Spain.

Hacienda Torre de Doña María is a rural estate built around a trapezoidal central courtyard surrounded by covered galleries. These galleries are two stories high on the north and west sides, with the layout including separate sections for the manor house, storage facilities, and worker housing.

According to tradition, King Pedro I of Castile had this estate built in the 14th century for his secret wife María de Padilla. It later developed into a significant regional agricultural and economic center.

The architecture blends Mudejar and Neo-Mudejar styles with a chapel and traditional Andalusian building methods visible throughout the complex. The design reflects how a wealthy family lived and managed agricultural production under one roof.

The site sits on the outskirts of Dos Hermanas and is easily reached from the town on foot or a short drive. It is worth taking time to walk around the full perimeter to see all the different sections and the four corner towers.

The property includes four corner towers with different shapes: three are square-based while one features a distinctive hexagonal form that juts beyond the main facade. This unusual mix gives the fortified complex a distinctive skyline.
