Good Shepherd Cathedral of San Sebastián, Gothic Revival cathedral in San Sebastián, Spain.

The Good Shepherd Cathedral is a Gothic Revival church with a distinctive tower, pointed arches, and intricate stained glass windows throughout its interior. Ribbed vaults create a soaring sense of height and draw the eye upward.

Construction started in 1888 and finished in 1897, following royal approval granted in 1881. This building project created an important religious landmark for the expanding city.

The cathedral serves as the spiritual center of the diocese and continues to anchor the religious life of the city. Pilgrims traveling along the Northern Way frequently stop here as a meaningful part of their journey.

The building can accommodate large crowds and is well-located in the city center for easy access. Steps and interior elevations mean visitors should consider their mobility needs when exploring.

The building houses one of Spain's largest organs, a remarkable instrument with thousands of pipes that fills the church during services and concerts. Few visitors realize the importance of this musical centerpiece.
