Plaza de Toros de Illumbe

The Plaza de Toros de Illumbe is a modern multipurpose arena in San Sebastián with seating for about 10,000 spectators and a retractable roof that functions year-round. The building features adjustable interior configurations that transform the space from a traditional bullring into a concert hall or sports venue.

The arena opened in 1998 and replaced older bullfighting facilities that previously served the city. This new construction represented a shift toward accommodating modern entertainment while maintaining traditional practices.
