Church of San Cernín, Pamplona, Gothic church in Old Town, Pamplona, Spain.

Iglesia de San Saturnino is a medieval church in Pamplona's Old Town featuring a prominent bell tower and stone walls that display Gothic architectural characteristics. The building shows decorated doorways and windows that reflect the craftsmanship of its era.

The building was erected in the 12th century and underwent several transformations during the Gothic period that shaped its current form. These changes reflect the architectural shifts that influenced Pamplona over the centuries.

The name comes from Saint Saturninus, an early Christian martyr, and the church remains a gathering point where locals mark religious holidays and community occasions. The surrounding streets fill with people during major feast days, bringing the neighborhood alive with celebration and shared tradition.

The church sits near the market and main streets of the Old Town, making it easy to reach on foot. The entrance is accessible from the main plaza area, with the best time to visit being outside of service hours.

The structure contains two defensive towers that served to protect the neighborhood during medieval conflicts between different quarters of the city. These towers are remnants of a time when churches also had protective functions.
