Cala Tarida

Cala Tarida is a sandy beach on the western coast of Ibiza, nestled in a protected bay with white sand and turquoise water. The shoreline stretches roughly one kilometer along the coast.

The natural harbor was historically important for local fishing communities before gradually transforming into a modern beach destination. This shift from a working harbor to a tourist spot occurred as the region developed over time.

Local restaurants at this beach serve traditional Spanish seafood dishes, and visitors gather to watch the sun set over the nearby island of Es Vedra. This daily gathering has made the place a meeting point for those who appreciate the sea and regional food.

The beach has lifeguard services and parking near the entrance, making it easy to access and stay for the day. Restaurants and cafés are within walking distance for meals and refreshments.

Flat rocks line the shoreline and create natural platforms where people can sunbathe comfortably. These rock formations also serve as good spots to watch the marine life in the nearby shallow waters.
