Puerta de San Juan, Bermeo

The Puerta de San Juan is a medieval gate structure in Bermeo featuring a tower with an entrance passage and wall sections extending on both sides. The construction includes arrow slits for defense in the upper levels and crenellations that were restored in recent times.

Built in the early 14th century, this gate was part of the fortifications that protected Bermeo from threats on land and sea. It survives today as one of the few remaining sections of the town's original medieval wall system.
