Montuenga Castle

Montuenga Castle is a medieval fortress situated on a steep hilltop overlooking the surrounding landscape. It features two polygonal towers at each end connected by defensive walls that once protected this strategic location.

The fortress was built to control the border region between Castile and Aragon during the Middle Ages. It gained strategic importance during conflicts in the 14th century when rival factions competed for regional control.
