The Parque de las Familias extends across 100,000 square meters, equivalent to fifteen football fields, with dedicated zones for children's activities and recreation.
The land was initially used for cultivation, then transformed into a sports complex and market area before becoming the current family park.
The park incorporates four thematic areas representing Almería's heritage: the Alcazaba fortress, Cabo de Gata, Mediterranean Sea, and cinema industry.
The park maintains security personnel throughout the day and features four entrance points, with operating hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
A section dedicated to the Alcazaba includes a reproduction of the monument with four integrated slides on a central mound.
