The Hospital Civil d'Oliver is a four-story building that spans an entire city block with two lateral T-shaped wings and a central section forming its main structure. The layout creates distinct zones that were originally designed to separate different patient groups within the same facility.
Construction of this hospital was completed in 1877 under the design of architect Geronimo Granell Mundet, made possible by funding from industrialist Agustín Oliver Domenech. The project represented a significant health infrastructure investment for the growing city.
