Casa d'Escaló., Art Nouveau residence in Alcoy, Spain.
The Casa d'Escaló exhibits stone blocks, forged iron elements, carved vegetation patterns, and curvilinear balconies across its three-floor structure.
Built between 1906 and 1908 by architect Vicente Juan Pascual Pastor, this building served as the residence of textile industrialist Enrique García Peidro.
The building incorporates detailed mural paintings, ornate cabinetry, plaster capitals, ceramics, and hydraulic tile flooring that represent early 1900s craftsmanship.
Located at 2 Joan Cantó Street, the structure now functions as the Municipal Conservatory of Music and Dance named after Joan Cantó.
The exterior features distinctive iron-framed gazebos that provide observation points and demonstrate the integration of industrial materials in residential architecture.
