The Museum of Huesca occupies an octagonal baroque building from the 17th century, featuring archaeological findings and fine arts collections across multiple halls.
The museum opened its doors in 1873 through the initiative of painter Valentín Carderera, who donated substantial parts of his personal collection.
The archaeological section displays artifacts from prehistoric to medieval times, while the fine arts division presents paintings from the 15th to 20th centuries.
The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, with morning hours from 10:00 to 14:00 and afternoon sessions from 17:00 to 20:00.
The Bell Room within the museum marks the location where, according to medieval tales, the tragic events of the Huesca Bell Legend occurred.
