Automobile Museum of Malaga, Technology museum in Málaga, Spain

The Automobile Museum of Malaga spreads across 6,000 square meters inside a former tobacco factory, displaying over 80 vintage and modern cars.

Built in 1927, the building served as a tobacco factory before its transformation into a museum in 2010, housing Portuguese collector Joao Magalhaes's vehicles.

The museum merges automotive history with fashion, presenting 300 vintage hats from designers like Balenciaga alongside cars decorated by artists such as Sonia Delaunay.

Located near Málaga Airport, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 to 19:00, with general admission at 9.50 euros and discounts for seniors and students.

The collection includes a Rolls-Royce embellished with Swarovski crystals and vehicles featuring interiors made from ostrich fur and mother-of-pearl dashboards.

What to do in Malaga: the most beautiful places to visit between culture, history, and the seaside

Between the Mediterranean and the Andalusian hills, Malaga blends southern warmth with a thousand-year history. Birthplace of Picasso, it combines Moorish fortresses, Renaissance churches, orange-scented alleys, and avant-garde museums. The Alcazaba overlooks the city from its Moorish walls, the Roman theater recalls its origins, and the Cathedral of the Incarnation connects the centuries. Along the port, the Pompidou Center, contemporary galleries, and subtropical gardens revitalize Andalusian modernity. The stroll is slow, between white light and warm shadows, from the Atarazanas market to the views of Gibralfaro. Malaga is no longer just a seaside stopover: it is a city to explore, to see, and to feel.
