Playa de la Misericordia is a Mediterranean beach located in the Carretera de Cádiz district of Málaga. The sandy shore stretches along the coast with a generous width, providing ample space for swimming and leisure activities.

Playa de la Misericordia lies in Málaga's Carretera de Cádiz district, between the Sacaba and Huelin beaches. Its shoreline is presided over by an old industrial chimney, now isolated and restored, the remnant of the manufacturing activity that once occupied this coastal strip.

The beach is known for the Ola del Melillero, the wash from the ferry to Melilla that reaches the shore and draws bathers and onlookers. Since 2018 it has held the Bandera Verde Pediátrica, an Italian paediatric award requiring the backing of at least 35 paediatricians, and since 2016 the Bandera Ecoplayas granted by ATEGRUS.

The beach provides facilities such as showers, waste bins, umbrella rentals, and sun lounger services at multiple locations along the shore. Visitors should plan their visit during warmer months when conditions are most comfortable for swimming and relaxation.

This shore ranks among the longest stretches of beach along this part of the coast and connects the areas of Huelin and Sacaba. Its central location between these zones makes it easily reachable by different forms of transport from across the city.
