Eusebi Güell established this pioneering cement manufacturing facility in 1901, marking the first industrial cement production site in Catalonia until its closure in 1975.

The factory exhibits Catalan modernism architecture with flat brick vaults on metal frameworks, designed in collaboration with architect Rafael Guastavino.

The museum opens daily for guided tours, allowing visitors to explore the industrial heritage and learn about early 20th-century cement production methods.

The factory's design maximized gravity for material transport, reducing energy consumption through its strategic placement on the mountainside at 958 meters elevation.
