Monumento A Los Caídos, Memorial building in Second Ensanche, Pamplona, Spain
The monument closes Carlos III Avenue with a massive stone structure containing a central hall and a crypt underneath the main building.
Built in 1942 after the Spanish Civil War, the memorial housed the remains of Generals Mola and Sanjurjo until their exhumation in 2016.
The building now functions as a municipal exhibition space, marking a transformation from its initial purpose as a tribute to Navarre war participants.
The memorial occupies a central position in Pamplona, between the modern district and historical center, accessible through multiple public transportation routes.
This structure stands as the second largest memorial of its type in Spain, following Valle de Cuelgamuros in Madrid.
