Edificio del Círculo Mercantil e Industrial y Teatro Cervantes, Cultural center and theatre at Paseo de Almeria, Spain.
The building features a three-story front facade with rectangular windows, classical columns, cornices, and detailed sculptural elements including theater symbols and Cervantes portrait.
Designed by architect Enrique López Rull in 1898, the building opened in 1921 to fulfill the city's need for a dedicated cultural and recreational space.
The theater section, shaped like a horseshoe, contains golden plasterwork decorations and hosts performances throughout the year in its main auditorium.
Located on the main avenue of Almeria, the building combines commercial areas of the Mercantile Circle with theatrical spaces accessible to the public.
In January 1922, actress Conchita Robles performed her final show here before meeting a tragic end on the same day.
