Parc del Centre del Poblenou, Urban park in Provençals del Poblenou, Barcelona, Spain
The Parc del Centre del Poblenou extends across 55,000 square meters between Carrer Bilbao, Carrer Marroc, Bac de Roda, and Diagonal avenues.
French architect Jean Nouvel designed this green space that opened in 2008, transforming a section of Barcelona's former textile manufacturing district.
The park includes Plaça de la Sardana, where residents gather for traditional Catalan dances and community celebrations throughout the year.
The park maintains different schedules according to seasons: summer hours from 10:00 to 21:00 and winter hours from 10:00 to 19:00.
Four enclosed garden islands feature walls covered with climbing plants, creating separate spaces with mathematical arrangements of weeping willow trees.
