Hotel Sky

Hotel Sky is a modern skyscraper in El Poblenou, Barcelona, that rises 31 floors with a distinctive cubic structure and aluminum-clad exterior along Avinguda Diagonal. The building contains guest rooms, a restaurant, fitness facilities, conference space, and multiple bars.

The building was completed in 2008 as part of the 22@Barcelona project, which transformed the former industrial district of El Poblenou into a modern business area. This shift marked a turning point for the entire neighborhood.

The building stands as a landmark of El Poblenou's transformation and shows how the neighborhood has moved beyond its industrial past. People today use it as a meeting point and visual reference in the reshaped area.

The hotel is accessible throughout the year, and its location on Avinguda Diagonal offers good public transit connections. Access to the lobby and some public areas is designed to be barrier-free.

The building extends 20 meters over the street with a dramatic canopy, an unusual architectural gesture that draws attention upward. This striking feature guides the eye toward the tower behind it.
