Fountain of El Torico

The fountain of El Torico is a public monument in Plaza Carlos Castel featuring an octagonal stone basin with water spouts and a central column. The column is topped by a small bronze bull statue that stands as the focal point of the structure.

Built in 1858, this fountain replaced earlier cisterns dating to 1375 that provided water supply to medieval Teruel. The structure has undergone restoration work over the years to maintain its role as a public landmark.
