Tarraco Arena Plaça

The Tarraco Arena Plaza stands as a large circular structure with a retractable dome spanning 40 meters in diameter and reaching 32 meters in height.

Built in 1883 as a bullring by architect Ramon Salas i Ricomà, the facility underwent a complete transformation in 2006 with an investment of 18 million euros.

The venue hosts numerous concerts, theatrical performances, sporting competitions, and traditional castell human tower building demonstrations throughout the calendar year.

The facility contains 4,974 fixed seats and provides 2,376 square meters of floor space, with specialized access points for large vehicles and production equipment.

The building combines preserved nineteenth-century external architecture with modern interior features, including advanced sound systems and adaptable lighting configurations.
