Castell d'Amposta

The Castle of Amposta stands on the banks of the Ebro River, featuring stone arches, defensive walls, and the remaining base of Sant Joan tower.

The fortress, dating from the 10th century, served as headquarters for the Order of St. John of Jerusalem in the Kingdom of Catalonia and Aragon.
