Cogulló d'Estela, Mountain summit in Rasos de Peguera, Catalonia, Spain
Cogulló d'Estela is a mountain summit rising to 1869 meters in the Berguedà region. The peak stands isolated above the Plans de Tagast and Espinalbet areas, making it visible from several directions around the foothills.
The mountain was surveyed and mapped by the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya, which established its precise geographic coordinates and elevation. This documentation brought the peak into regional mountaineering records.
The Federation of Hiking Entities of Catalonia includes this peak in their list of 100 notable mountains for regional mountaineering activities.
You can reach the summit from multiple starting points like the Mare de Déu de Corbera sanctuary or the village of Espinalbet. Both approaches offer reasonable hiking routes to the top.
The peak is marked with a flag on a stone base and a large cross at its top. From this point, you can see distant views across to the Puigmal and Montserrat mountain ranges.
