The Fossar de la Pedrera features columns displaying victims' names, a large garden with tombstones, and President Lluís Companys' mausoleum within Montjuïc Cemetery grounds.
This location served as a mass grave for 4,000 victims during Spain's White Terror and contains remains of individuals executed by the Franco regime from 1939 to 1952.
Annual ceremonies take place at the memorial where Catalan politicians and citizens lay wreaths to commemorate President Lluís Companys and other victims of repression.
Visitors can access the memorial through the iron gate at Mare de Déu de Port Street 56-58, with free guided tours available monthly on Sundays at 11:00.
The memorial includes specific sections dedicated to victims of National Socialism and members of the National Confederation of Labor who perished during the Spanish Civil War.
