Platja Nord

Platja Nord is a sandy beach on Spain's Costa del Azahar that stretches 270 meters along the shore with a width of 60 meters. The Mediterranean waters here create gentle to moderate waves suitable for swimming and relaxation.

This beach became part of Torreblanca's tourism growth when the Costa del Azahar region developed as a coastal destination in the early twentieth century. The expansion connected the area to broader Mediterranean tourism patterns.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals spend time together, especially during summer when families and friends meet for casual outings along the water. It reflects how the community uses its coastline for daily recreation.

The beach has showers, toilets, and ramps designed for easier access, making it welcoming for all visitors. A parking area with space for more than 100 vehicles sits close to the shore.

Natural sand dunes line the northern section where they act as a natural barrier against coastal erosion while providing habitat for local plants. This ecological feature makes the spot worthwhile for visitors interested in how nature protects itself.
