The building operated as Madrid South Bus Station until 1997, when bus services relocated to Mendez Alvaro Street due to space needs. The extensive renovation in 1998 transformed the former station into a modern community center with new facilities.

The center serves the neighborhood as a gathering place for events and artistic activities, with regular concerts and exhibitions throughout the year. Visitors experience a dynamic program that brings the community together and showcases local talent.

The facility is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 18:30, with shorter hours from 10:00 to 14:00 during summer. It is best to verify opening times before visiting, especially during holiday periods.
