Jardín Tropical, Tropical garden in Atocha Station, Madrid, Spain.

The 4000-square-meter greenhouse within Atocha Station contains more than 100 plant species from the Americas, Asia, and Australia beneath a glass roof.

The garden was established in 1992 during the station's renovation for the high-speed AVE train service, transforming the former passenger terminal into a botanical space.

The indoor garden represents Madrid's modern approach to urban spaces, integrating natural elements within the country's largest railway station.

Located in Plaza Emperador Carlos V, the garden offers free entry and remains accessible during station hours from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM.

The garden maintains a constant temperature between 22-24°C and 60-70% humidity, creating a microclimate that supports 7,200 tropical and subtropical plants.
