The Church of San Ildefonso exhibits a symmetrical Neoclassical facade with grand columns and large wooden doors at the entrance of the building.
Architect Juan Antonio Cuervo designed and completed the construction of the Church of San Ildefonso in 1827 during Madrid's architectural transformation period.
The main altar contains an important artwork depicting the Imposition of the Chasuble on Saint Ildephonsus, attributed to Renaissance artist Gaspar Becerra.
Located at Calle de Colón 16 in central Madrid, the church opens daily for religious services and welcomes visitors to explore its architectural features.
The church received the designation of Bien de Interés Cultural in 1977, marking its status as a protected cultural asset in Spain.
