Mare de Déu del Tura

The church features a symmetrical facade with a central rose window, Corinthian pilasters, and decorative niches containing religious figures.

The earliest records of the church date back to 872, with the current structure built between the 17th and 18th centuries by architect Francesc Mas.

The interior houses a 12th-century Romanesque statue of the Virgin Mary of Tura and baroque sculptures created by artist Ramón Amadeu.

Located in the center of Olot between Tura Street, Valls Nous Street, and Proa Street, the church opens daily for religious services.

The name 'Tura' derives from an old Catalan word meaning 'bull,' referencing a legend where a bull discovered the Virgin's image by scratching the ground.
