La Farinera del Clot

La Farinera del Clot is a four-story brick building combining industrial architecture with Art Nouveau elements, featuring decorative mosaics and preserved flour mill machinery throughout. The structure retains both its raw factory character and modern additions that have transformed it into a cultural venue.

The building began as a flour mill in 1892 and became a major producer during its peak decades of operation. It closed its factory doors in 1991 and was gradually transformed into a cultural venue.

The center reflects how the flour mill shaped neighborhood identity and remains a gathering place for residents to explore their district's industrial past. Today it serves as a space where locals connect with their heritage through exhibitions and community programs.

The facility sits near Glòries metro station and is easily accessible on foot from the neighborhood. Hours vary between weekdays and weekends, so checking ahead helps ensure you arrive when it is open for visiting.
