Vapor Nou

Vapor Nou is a textile mill in Rubí, of which only a cylindrical brick chimney remains standing today at Plaça del Poble Romaní. The structure shows the solid industrial construction of the era, with its distinctive brick design serving as a tangible reminder of the mill's original scale and importance.

The factory was established in 1839 as the second textile mill in Rubí, marking the rapid growth of industrial development in the region. The mill was powered by steam engines and equipped with mechanical looms for production, making it a significant manufacturing hub before eventually closing.
