Fàbrica Tauler is an industrial building with a rectangular footprint, two main floors and a prominent square tower at one corner. The tower features three windows on each side with semicircular arches and decorative ceramic tiles, while the ground level now houses retail spaces that have replaced its original industrial function.

The building was constructed in 1893 as a cork-processing facility during a period of industrial expansion along the Catalan coast. Its establishment reflected the region's shift toward manufacturing and industrial production that transformed local communities during the late 1800s.

The blue glazed-tile sign reading "R. TAULER" on top of the square tower carries the name of the founder, the businessman Remigi Tauler i Mauri, who commissioned the factory in 1893. The building is listed in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. Since 2021 it has been converted into tourist accommodation.

The factory stands between Carrer President Macià and Carrer Santa Bàrbara, inland from the port, not on the waterfront. The ground floor on Carrer President Macià now holds a shop, so the street façades are the easiest to see; the tower's "R. TAULER" sign faces outward on all four sides. Since 2021 the building has operated as tourist accommodation.

The tower's top is crowned by a small square body topped with a pyramid of blue glazed tiles, and each side ends in a pediment. On the upper part, the sign "R. TAULER" in blue glazed tile letters names the factory's founder, Remigi Tauler i Mauri.
