Sant Antoni de Calonge Church

Sant Antoni de Calonge Church is a parish church with a main nave divided into four sections and six side altars evenly distributed on both sides. Eleven pointed arch windows in the upper section admit natural light through stained glass panels that run the length of the interior.

The building opened in 1923 in historicist style and suffered major damage in 1936. Complete restoration works brought it back to its current condition by the 1950s.

The main altar in the polygonal apse honors Saint Anthony of Padua, while side altars display statues of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Sacred Heart. These religious focal points give the interior its spiritual character and purpose.

The building is easily accessible, located in an active town area and reachable from several approaches. Visitors should note that interior lighting is shaped by the colored windows and changes throughout the day.

The square bell tower features a clock and displays exposed stonework in its moldings, while the rest of the exterior is covered in white plaster. This contrast between the raw masonry of the tower and the smooth facade gives the building visual character.
