Platja de s'Alqueria, Nude beach in Cadaqués, Spain

Platja de s'Alqueria is a small cove along the Catalan coast featuring dark pebbles and rocky formations that frame the water. The site occupies limited space, appealing to those seeking a secluded spot away from crowded tourist areas.

The beach lies 2 km from Cadaqués, just north of Portlligat, in the small bay of Racó des Moro shared with s'Alqueria Petita. Portlligat was Salvador Dalí's home from 1930, and his presence drew artists and writers to this stretch of the Cap de Creus coast.

The beach takes its name from the alqueria, a Catalan farmstead, and lies in the small bay of Racó des Moro beside s'Alqueria Petita, or d'en Ballesta. It is a nudist beach, and the islet of s'Alqueria sits offshore near the point of the same name.

The beach lies in the small bay of Racó des Moro, 2 km from the centre of Cadaqués and just north of Portlligat, in a minimally built-up area. It faces south-east and is made of flattened pebbles, 59 m long and about 20 m wide. The islet of s'Alqueria sits in front of it, near the point of the same name.

In front of the beach lies the islet of s'Alqueria, close to the point of the same name; the cove opens onto the small bay of Racó des Moro, where the neighbouring beach d'en Ballesta, or s'Alqueria Petita, also sits.
