Playa de la Sirena Loca

Playa de la Sirena Loca is an urban beach on the Costa de Almería stretching about 1100 meters along the coast with a 70-meter width of dark gravel and sand. The shore slopes gently into the water and is framed by rocky outcrops that add visual definition to the shoreline.

The beach sits near the ancient port of Adra, a Phoenician settlement that later developed into an important trade hub under Roman control. This position shaped the region's role as a key Mediterranean commerce point for centuries.

Local fishermen maintain their traditional practices along this stretch of coast, utilizing small boats to catch fresh seafood for nearby restaurants.

The beach offers showers, toilets, and lifeguard stations to keep visitors safe while swimming. Parking is available for around 100 vehicles, and the area is accessible for people with mobility needs.

Rocky outcrops shape the shoreline and become more visible or submerged depending on wave conditions and time of day. These natural formations make swimming conditions change throughout the day, giving the beach a dynamic character.
