The monument features two marble figures, a man and a woman, standing three meters tall on landscaped islands in Plaza de la Paz.

Rafael Bartolozzi designed this monument in 1987, and its official inauguration took place on June 4, 1989, following the Peace Agreement signing.

The monument displays the word 'Peace' in eight languages on stainless steel cubes adorning columns, representing multicultural understanding.
