Monumento a la Paz

Monumento a la Paz is a monument in Plaza de la Paz in Pamplona's Second Ensanche district, consisting of two white marble figures approximately three meters tall. The sculptures of a man and a woman stand on landscaped islands within an urban plaza setting.

The monument was designed by Rafael Bartolozzi in 1987 and officially inaugurated on June 4, 1989. Its creation was connected to a significant peace agreement in the region.

The monument displays the word 'Peace' in eight languages on stainless steel cubes attached to columns, representing understanding between different cultures and peoples.
