Cala Estellencs

Cala Estellencs is a shingle cove on the Mediterranean coast nestled between two rocky headlands. This narrow strip of beach runs along the shore and serves both swimmers and fishing boats.

This cove has served the local community since ancient times as both a swimming spot and fishing harbor. The dual purpose remains central to how the village uses and values this section of coast.

Fishermen from the village still use this cove to moor their boats and maintain their nets as part of daily life. Their presence shapes the character of the beach and reflects how the community remains connected to the sea.

Bring your own supplies since the beach has minimal facilities or amenities on site. A parking area sits above the cliff, though reaching the sand requires going down a steep road.

A mountain stream called Torrent de Son Fortuny flows into the sea here and can create a natural freshwater cascade when water levels are high enough. This seasonal feature provides an unexpected natural surprise on the otherwise saltwater beach.
