The winery occupies a restored 16-hectare estate at the foot of El Tajo cliff, featuring vineyards, gardens, and natural water springs.
Originally established as a Trinitarian convent in 1505, the building served religious purposes until 1664 when monks relocated closer to the city center.
The property maintains original religious frescoes in the former main altar area, combining wine production with architectural preservation of the historical structure.
The facility produces 35,000 bottles annually from seven grape varieties, including Graciano, Syrah, Garnacha, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay.
The vineyard spans across three distinct plots: Finca Descalzos Viejos, Haza del Batán, and Huerto del Mellizo, each contributing to different wine characteristics.
