Bodega Descalzos Viejos

Bodega Descalzos Viejos is a restored winery and former convent in Ronda situated on a 16-hectare estate at the foot of the El Tajo cliff. The property encompasses vineyards, gardens, and natural water springs that have sustained the land's cultivation.

The building was originally founded as a Trinitarian convent in 1505 and served religious purposes until monks relocated closer to the city center in 1664. This move marked a turning point after which the estate gradually developed different uses.
