Puuhapuisto Veijari

Puuhapuisto Veijari is an amusement park in Kolkanlahti featuring adventure trails, football billiards, bouncy castles, pedal cars, and water activities across its grounds. It also contains a sizable animal yard with ponies and alpacas, plus a reptile house housing snakes and lizards.

Established in 1988, the park developed into a recreational destination merging outdoor activities with educational animal experiences in central Finland. This combination has continued to define its role in the local leisure landscape.

The park incorporates Finnish lake-based recreation and natural surroundings, creating spaces where visitors can observe local fish species and enjoy traditional outdoor pastimes throughout the seasons.

The park operates from June through August, open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM, with day passes available and seasonal passes for regular visitors. Guests should prepare for changing weather conditions and bring suitable clothing for water-based and outdoor activities.

The park operates a separate enclosure called the Furry Nest exclusively for rabbits and small rodents, designed to let visitors interact closely with gentle, tame animals. This dedicated space creates an intimate experience distinct from the larger animal areas.
