Villilä Manor, Manor house in Nakkila, Finland.
Villilä Manor is a two-story Empire-style building with 17 rooms situated near the Tampere-Pori railway line. The barn and surrounding structures have been adapted for modern use, including film production and educational programs.
The site began as a croft in the 1450s when families from nearby Villiö village settled there. The property evolved into a proper estate by 1638, marking its transition from a simple settlement to a significant landed domain.
The manor represents Finnish architectural heritage through its Empire-style design by Anders Fredrik Granstedt, a student of architect Carl Ludvig Engel.
Access to the manor is limited since parts of the property are actively used for film production and educational activities. Visitors should check in advance about visiting conditions or any restrictions before planning a trip to the site.
The estate's park was designed in the 1930s by Paul Olsson using classic Finnish landscaping with naturalistic elements. This garden space subtly connects the formal architecture of the main building to the surrounding countryside.
