Karhupuisto, Urban park in Kallio district, Finland
Karhupuisto features a triangular layout with pathways, benches, and colorful flower arrangements maintained by local volunteers and city park officials.
The park received its name in 1931 from a red granite statue depicting a bear on an anthill, created by sculptor Jussi Mäntynen.
Local residents gather in the park for community events, outdoor activities, and social interactions, reflecting the district's communal character.
The Bear Park Cafe operates from a summer kiosk within the park, providing refreshments and a meeting point for visitors.
The park's dedicated group of volunteers, known as Karhupuisto's Godparents, maintains extensive flower displays throughout the summer season.
