Serena Waterpark

Serena is a water park in Lahnus featuring indoor and outdoor sections with multiple swimming pools, water slides, and relaxation areas. The facility spreads across different depths and zones, all monitored by trained lifeguards for visitor safety.

The park opened in 1989 but faced financial difficulties during the 1990s. Tervakoski's Puuhamaa company acquired the facility in 1992 and helped stabilize its operations.

The facility reflects Nordic bathing traditions by combining swimming with Finnish sauna experiences carved into rock formations. Visitors experience how water and wellness are central to local leisure practices.

Changing rooms, lockers, and dining facilities are available throughout the site. Weekends tend to be busier, so arriving early or visiting on quieter weekdays can improve your experience.

The facility offers a rare combination in winter: guests can switch between water activities and skiing at the adjacent Serena Ski Center. This dual setup lets visitors experience two different sports in one location.
