Nordea Bank Museum

The museum occupies a late 19th century Art Nouveau building with decorative wall panels and preserved banking furniture from 1904.

The building, designed by architect Gustaf Nyström in 1898, features 11 exterior reliefs by sculptor Walter Runeberg and operated as a bank until 1936.

The exhibition displays Finnish commercial banking artifacts, including share certificates, bank books, and rare banknotes issued by the Union Bank of Finland.

Visitors can access the museum during monthly open house events or arrange group visits on weekdays through advance reservations.

The museum contains the first cash machines with instruction labels and retro bank television commercials from the 1960s.
