Wohls Gård is a Gustavian-style manor house beside Humaljärvi Lake, spanning two levels with original tiled stoves, wooden floors, and crystal chandeliers throughout. The ground floor accommodates large groups for dining, while the upper level contains a meeting room equipped with modern conference facilities.
The estate's origins reach back to 1624 when land was granted to Ludvig Hintelmann from Riga, but the current manor house was built during Christian Borgström's ownership from 1790 to 1824. During the 1918 conflict, it served as a war hospital under Teddy Biaudet's direction, who later became the local municipal doctor.
The formal garden was established in 1847 and extends from the main building down to the lake shore, with two rose gardens added during renovations in the 2010s. People gather here for celebrations and events, which fits naturally with the refined character of the place.
The estate sits directly beside the lake with pleasant views from the garden area toward the water. Wear comfortable shoes since pathways to the shore and garden areas involve natural ground surface that changes with seasons.
