Saint-Frézal-d'Albuges

Saint-Frézal-d'Albuges extends across 17.2 square kilometers at an average elevation of 1120 meters in the Lozère department of southern France.

The 12th-century Romanesque church of Saint-Frézal-d'Albuges commemorates Saint Frézal, bishop of Gévaudan who was killed in 826 near La Canourgue.

The residents, known as Frézaliens and Frézaliennes, maintain rural traditions in the three main villages: Chazeaux, la Peyre, and Combecibron.

The town hall opens every Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for residents to complete their administrative procedures.

The commune marks the source of the Chassezac River and features an elevation range reaching up to 1496 meters.
