Church of St John the Baptist

The Church of Saint John the Baptist displays thick stone walls, rounded arches, and carved capitals characteristic of Romanesque religious architecture.

The central nave of the church dates from the early 12th century, following the destruction of an earlier church by Emperor Henry IV's troops in 1080.

The church contains multiple altars from different periods, including the main altar from 1706 and additional ones constructed between 1718 and 1719.

A pipe organ from 1771 remains in the church's tribune, adding to the musical heritage of this religious monument.
