Basilique Notre-Dame-des-Miracles de Mayenne

The Basilica Notre-Dame-des-Miracles is a church in Mayenne that blends architectural elements spanning the 12th, 16th, and 19th centuries. A monumental staircase leads visitors up to its entrance.

Construction began in 1110 to replace a small shrine dedicated to Saint Anne. Written records documenting this place first appear in 1124.

The basilica serves as a pilgrimage destination where the faithful gather to pray and seek spiritual connection. It remains a central place of worship for the local Catholic community.
